I met up with a friend here the other day & we hung out in the sunshine & chatted.
I love the neon sign in the window. I’m really such a sucker for a good neon sign. I think they have so much character! I know you can’t see it super well here, but they one they have here is very cute.
The place is really small – there are a couple of places at a counter, although it’s right near where they serve the coffee so I’m not sure it would be that comfortable to hang out there. It’s so small inside in fact that they actually have all of the “condiments” that you would use to dress up your coffee (i.e. half & half, sugar, soy milk, etc.) right outside the front door.
Despite being a very small space, the decor is rad. It’s a quirky little place with a bit of a hipster vibe (but not too much) & a bit of a hippie vibe (again though, it’s not too much). I really liked how the place looked & the staff was super friendly.
It looked like they had a pretty wide selection of teas (seen below). They also offer iced tea (what I ordered) (delicious), a full espresso bar line-up, & even fresh coconuts! (What my friend ordered.) Technically, they’re shipped in & packaged, but he’ll still smash it open for you & you can eat it with a spoon & straw. I was pretty amazed at how dang rich the coconut was! There’s definitely a lot of fatty goodness in that fruit!
There’s also a small selection of baked goods (very small). The chocolate chip cookie I had was really yummy!
Even though the indoor space is small, I was pretty in love with all of the outdoor space. I did visit on a very sunny day, which was nice, & I’m sure a rainy day changes things, but the benches were lovely. They also have their own little parklet that’s decorated with a large (!) tree branch & some nice wooden benches. There was a little kid climbing on the branches while I was there – exactly what it was meant for, I think. 🙂
Anyways, delicious & cute. Bring cash. Visit The General Store (next door) while you’re there. Outerlands is right up the street if you want brunch instead. 🙂
VISIT / 4033 Judah Street (between 45th & 46th), San Francisco, California. Cash only.
See their website, which is cute, but has no additional information, here.
