To be quite upfront about this so-called recommendation, I just want to say that while I’ve walked by, I have never been inside. That being said, I’m partial to pubs, love a good pint of beer in some fresh air, & am reaaaally diggin’ their alley way signs.
The next time it’s sunny in San Francisco (& maybe when it’s not 30 degrees Fahrenheit out, either), I’m going to come here & order something good. If it’s not good, I’ll still linger over my drink, just to pretend I’m hanging out in Ireland & enjoying a pint with some new Irish friends. If I visit in summer, there’s a good chance I’ll meet some real Irish visitors here, anyways.
The reviews for this spot are decent on Yelp & although there are some really stellar places to drink outside in San Francisco, I’d like to give this place a try, just for the novelty factor of it. Located kind of near Union Square, this would be a good place to grab a drink & a snack if you’ve been seeing the sights & doing a bit of shopping in downtown San Francisco.
Tell me: would you visit just for the hell of trying this place? Something about that decor has me convinced…

Looks like a fun place! I like any restaurant with outdoor seating, and I heard that the weather has been amazing in SF recently.
I think it’s been amazing! haha. I just got back the other day, but my mom reported it was essentially in the 70’s. So nice! Good down there, too?
My brother in law were just telling me about an Irish Bar in SF that I needed to try. I can’t remember the name, but I wonder if this is it!?
But YES, I would so try this place. My hubby works at a traditional Irish Pub here in Sacramento.. and that coupled with the fact that we both have Irish blood in us, I’d try that place in a heartbeat!
